University of California, Irvine's Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing invites applications for Health Sciences Clinical Instructor. RNs with teaching interest in prelicensure programs are encouraged to apply.

Requirements include PhD/ DNP/ EdD / DNE or MSN in progress and active CA RN license; strong clinical and communication skills; teaching or simulation experience; ability to mentor diverse student body.

Qualifications

• PhD, DNP, EdD, or DNE or an MSN with their terminal degree in progress and must hold an active and unencumbered California RN license.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills as well as didactic teaching, clinical teaching and/or simulation experience.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and to teach and mentor a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Primarily teaching, mentoring, and supervising prelicensure BS and MEPN students in our prelicensure nursing programs.
• May include research/QI/EBP mentorship.
