Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Education Scholar to join the education team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and evaluating programs that improve clinical competencies and practitioner development.

You will collaborate with the Professional Development Department and leadership to set annual education plans and standards of performance. In this salaried position, you will model OSF HealthCare’s mission and values, lead instructional initiatives, and support staff education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing; MSN enrollment within 6 months of hire and completion within 4 years.
• RN licensure in Illinois; BLS required within 30 days of hire; ANCC or equivalent certification listed in requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement education programs and practice with focus on performance problems and clinical competencies.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development Department and unit/division leadership to create annual education plans and competencies.
• Act as a catalyst for change and adapt to change in a positive and professional manner; model OSF HealthCare values.
