Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Educator to autonomously and collaboratively lead education, orientation, competency and skill-building for OSF HealthCare employees to enhance patient care quality and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and RN licensure with BLS, plus at least 1 year of direct patient care. MSN is preferred, with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. This is an on-site clinical education position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 1 year of direct patient care.
• Licensure/ Certification: Current state RN license; current AHA BLS.
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong computer skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Educate OSF HealthCare employees through orientation, education, competency, and skill-building initiatives.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate education programs for clinical staff and leadership development.
• Ensure programs are aligned with patient care quality, safety and organizational initiatives.
