Job summary

Agape’s Way in Florida is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations across group homes and APD services. This hands-on nursing leader will shape clinical culture, ensure compliance, and drive quality outcomes while mentoring staff.

The DON will oversee nursing personnel, coordinate care, partner with HR and leadership, and uphold HIPAA, infection control, and regulatory standards to deliver resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida (unencumbered).
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory nursing experience implied.
• Experience with ventilator/tracheostomy care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and clinical operations across group home and APD services.
• Lead staff development, performance coaching, and competency assessments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, and HIPAA/privacy adherence.
• Coordinate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, licensing, and staffing.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement across programs.
