Job summary

The Avante Group in Jacksonville, FL seeks a seasoned Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will supervise nursing operations, refine policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality resident care.

Requirements include Florida RN license, BSN, and strong CMS/regulatory knowledge; MSN preferred. Demonstrated leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS guidelines and healthcare regulations.
• Proven leadership and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all nursing services and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and refine nursing policies and quality standards.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff.

• Coordinate patient care with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Align nursing activities with organizational goals and mission.
• Ensure accurate patient records and proper documentation.
