Legend Senior Living in Florida is seeking an outstanding Health Care Director to lead the nursing team. You will spearhead clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

You will provide onsite medical care, collaborate with physicians and family members, and champion high quality standards and infection control across the community.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN nursing license in the state of Florida.
• Previous supervisory experience including management, coaching and health care services.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English clearly.

Responsabilités

• Monitoring medication management
• Performing resident assessments
• Providing leadership and guidance on health issues
• Providing onsite medical care
• Communicating changing medical needs to the team and family members
• Champions high quality and infection control
• Verifies physician orders
• Communicates move-in/move-out information
• Supervises the ordering, delivery, transcription and documentation of medication, treatments and orders under their authority.
