Job summary

Pioneer Point Recovery is seeking a seasoned Director of Nursing (RN) to lead nursing services at our residential substance use disorder treatment facility. The DON serves as the senior nursing leader, partnering with the Medical Director and clinical team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma in good standing.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in behavioral health or related setting.
• 2+ years supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medication management and infection prevention.
• Experience with healthcare documentation and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and nursing personnel.
• Recruit, supervise, schedule, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Oversee nursing assessments, health screenings, and ongoing monitoring of client health needs.
• Manage medication administration, storage, documentation, inventory, and related controls.
• Collaborate with Medical Director on medication protocols and policies.
• Support MAT services and coordinate medical appointments and labs.
• Oversee infection prevention and disease procedures.
• Participate in admission reviews and quality improvement activities.
• Work with leadership to support integrated, high-quality client care.
