Rockledge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rockledge, FL is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care. The DON will drive clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement in a fast-paced skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include policy development, QA/QI oversight, budgeting, and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize resident outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Florida.
• BSN from an accredited program preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing management experience.
• Experience with CMS/AHCA and long-term care operations.
• CPR certification and strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all nursing operations to ensure safe, effective care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS, AHCA, HIPAA, OSHA.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and QAPI activities.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource utilization.
