Job summary

TAG MedStaffing seeks an experienced nursing leader to oversee operations across three facilities, supervise a team of about 10 nurses, and ensure high-quality patient care. This role requires an active NJ RN license, a BSN, and strong expertise in regulatory compliance and performance improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in nursing leadership, with correctional or behavioral health background and experience with residential substance use treatment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license required.
• BSN required from an accredited nursing program.
• 5–10 years of nursing leadership/supervisory and healthcare administration experience.
• Correctional healthcare or strong behavioral health experience required.
• Residential substance use treatment experience highly preferred.
• Experience with nursing operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel between multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and clinical services across three facilities.
• Supervise approximately 10 nursing staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and adherence to clinical policies and procedures.
• Oversee medication procedures, medical records, and patient care concerns.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors, Site Administrators, and corporate leadership.
• Provide clinical nursing support when staffing coverage is needed.
• Travel between facilities and corporate office locations as required.
