Job summary

The Director of Nursing at Hartford HealthCare's Natchaug Hospital will lead In-Patient Psychiatric services, staff education and infectious disease oversight within patient care services.

The Director will shape and interpret the philosophy and definition of psychiatric care as it relates to patient care, staff development, resource and budget management, staffing, performance improvement and healthcare system utilization.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in CT in good standing.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees required.
• Progressive leadership experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to align department goals with organizational strategy.
• Experience with performance improvement and patient safety.
