Health Systems in Dexter, Missouri is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to provide hands-on, patient-centered leadership for resident care. The DON will coordinate care, develop policies, and ensure regulatory compliance while managing staff and resources.

The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to recruit qualified staff, conduct evaluations, and respond to emergencies. A RN license and CPR/First Aid are required, with LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required (1+ year).
• Long Term Care experience preferred (2+ years).
• RN license is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate resident care with a hands-on management style.
• Develop, review, and revise nursing policies and procedures.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and handle disciplinary matters.
• Lead recruitment and interviewing to staff qualified team members.
• Ensure regulatory standards are met and patient care is coordinated across departments.
