PIN OAKS LIVING CENTER in Mexico, Missouri seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. The DON will oversee staff performance, develop policies, and collaborate with other departments to support patient care while meeting regulatory standards.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/First Aid, and supervisory experience in long-term care, with flexibility to respond to staffing needs and emergencies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care (required).
• 2+ years in long-term care (preferred).
• Current RN license (required).
• CPR/First Aid certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care with a hands-on management style.
• Develop, review, and revise nursing/clinical policies.
• Lead recruitment and interview staff for nursing roles.
• Provide leadership to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cost controls through use of supplies and equipment.
• Foster collaboration with other departments to support patient care.
