Job summary

White Acres Assisted Living is seeking an outstanding Director of Nursing to lead our Nursing Department and ensure the highest quality of care. The RN in this role will supervise 24/7 nursing operations, coordinate with physicians, and uphold federal, state, and company standards.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, an associate or bachelor degree in nursing, and have prior supervisory experience in long-term or acute care settings.

Qualifications

• RN license currently active in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services 24/7 and manage the Nursing Department to meet quality standards.
• Direct care operations in alignment with physician orders and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate admissions decisions and monitor resident status and census.
• Communicate policies to nursing staff and ensure policy adherence.
• Assist administrator as needed and participate in management meetings.
