Job summary
Avir Trilogy in Post, TX is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department and ensure the highest level of patient care. You will lead policy development, staff coaching, and regulatory compliance while collaborating across departments to improve outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements include a Master's in Nursing or related field, TX RN licensure, and extensive leadership experience in long-term/post-acute care.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum leadership experience in a long-term care or post-acute setting.
- Texas RN license and strong regulatory knowledge.
- Proven ability to coach staff and drive quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and standards of care.
- Coordinate patient care services including wound care and discharge planning.
- Foster open communication and teamwork among staff and physicians.
- Collaborate with Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Social Services as needed.
- Recruit, retain, and develop nursing staff with ongoing feedback.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and industry standards.
