Job summary

Bowman Estates of Danville seeks a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee clinical operations, lead the nursing team, and ensure high-quality resident care. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate infection control and medication management while maintaining state compliance.

Ideal candidates will have an LPN license (RN preferred), at least two years of supervisory experience in senior living, and strong communication skills to engage residents,

Qualifications

• Maintains current state nursing licensure.
• LPN required, RN preferred.
• Minimum of two years nursing supervisory experience.
• Prior senior/supportive living experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visits.
• Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences.
• Delivers health promotion services, disease prevention counseling, and self-care education.
• Engages with residents and family members to create a compassionate, positive experience.
• Fosters communication with physicians, healthcare providers, and family members.
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team to provide exceptional care.
• Coordinates infection control program and maintains state regulatory compliance.
• Develops and oversees the community’s medication management program.
• Contributes to quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Complies with confidentiality and privacy rules.
