Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Tuscola, IL, seeks a Full Time Nursing Supervisor/LPN with leadership experience to oversee resident care and the clinical team. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate infection control and medication management while mentoring staff.

Ideal candidates hold a state LPN license (RN preferred) and have at least two years in nursing supervisory roles, with strong communication and a compassionate approach to senior living residents.

Qualifications

• Maintains current state nursing licensure. LPN required, RN preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years nursing supervisory experience
• Prior senior/supportive living experience strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visits
• Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each resident
• Delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents
• Approximately 20% of hours will be providing hands-on nursing responsibility and direct care
• Engages with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Fosters communication by regularly engaging with physicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family members
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences
• Coordinates the Community’s infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance
• Develop and oversee the Community’s medication management program
• Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Complies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
