The Avenue at Broadview Heights is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in a comfortable, hotel-like setting with all-private suites. We are seeking a strong Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department, mentor staff, and ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational

Qualifications

• RN license required, BSN preferred.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of the nursing department
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and care standards
• Assess resident needs and oversee individualized care plans
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct rounds, evaluate care, and initiate corrective actions
• Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and administration
• Oversee budget planning and resource allocation
• Lead educational programs and staff development initiatives
