Job summary

Zohorecruit in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical operations of a skilled nursing facility dedicated to delivering exceptional resident care. This executive nursing leadership role oversees the nursing department, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes a culture of excellence, compassion, and accountability.

The DON will collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive staffing, MDS documentation, care planning, quality

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Experience as Director or Assistant Director in skilled nursing.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and long-term care compliance.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR and MDS processes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations within the facility.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and best practices.
• Oversee resident assessments, MDS documentation, and individualized care plans.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for quality care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
• Monitor clinical performance and drive quality improvement initiatives.
