Job summary

The DON will oversee staffing, policy development, regulatory compliance, QA activities, and collaboration with physicians and families. BSN preferred with 7+ years of nurse management experience, including prior DON/ADON roles. This role requires strong leadership and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or preferred; active state licensure.
• Minimum 7 years nurse management experience in long-term care/skilled nursing.
• Prior DON/ADON or clinical director leadership strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing department operations, staffing and scheduling.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate QA activities and participate in state surveys and care conferences.
• Liaise with physicians and families; manage budgeting and reporting for the department.
