Job summary

Regency Coupeville is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead daily clinical operations in a skilled nursing facility in Coupeville, WA. You will supervise nursing staff, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality resident care.

The role requires RN licensure in good standing, 2+ years in geriatric nursing with medication administration, and 2+ years in supervisory positions. Strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in the state of the facility
• Two+ years in geriatric nursing with medication administration experience
• Two years in supervisory/management roles including budgets, staff development and scheduling
• Working knowledge of MDS, state and federal surveys, and CMS requirements
• Read, write, speak and understand English; health requirements met
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company applications

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate the care plan for each resident; develop and monitor care goals with the healthcare team
• Ensure nursing services maximize quality of care and protect residents’ rights
• Staff facility to meet state and federal regulations; keep administrator informed of staffing challenges
• Supervise compliance with governmental standards and regulations; manage staff data
• Establish and maintain safety rules and procedures aligned with government policies
• Manage the clinical budget in coordination with the administrator
• Provide ethical leadership, coach and train clinical staff; attend continuing education
