Concept Rehab, Inc. in Newark, OH is seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the skilled nursing and rehabilitation nursing services. You will drive clinical excellence, staff development, and regulatory compliance across the facility, while pairing with administration and medical leadership to ensure resident-centered care.

The DON will oversee staffing, quality measures, QAPI initiatives, and documentation accuracy, promoting teamwork, accountability, and a positive culture.

Formación

• Current, active Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Prior Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and Ohio long-term care requirements.
• Leadership, staff management, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the nursing department to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
• Develop staffing plans and monitor nursing schedules to maintain appropriate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, CMS requirements, and Ohio health standards.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, infection prevention, and resident safety.
• Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with Administrator, Medical Director, and department heads to address concerns.
