The DON will supervise the nursing team, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate across departments to optimize resident outcomes and staff development.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college, university or vocational school.
• Current unencumbered Ohio RN license.
• Additional education in nursing administration or management is required.
• Experience supervising in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care setting.

Responsabilités

• Directs the Nursing Department within a life plan community to ensure quality care.
• Oversees staffing, budgeting and performance development for nursing staff.
• Monitors care plans, medication administration and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with other departments and participates in governance and training.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and resident safety and quality initiatives.
• Provides guidance, coaching and performance feedback to direct reports.
