Nancy Hart Operations LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing team in our Georgia facility. The DON will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff while ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, healthcare knowledge, and prior management experience. The DON collaborates with physicians and administration to plan care, manage budgets, and continuously improve patient outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Leadership and interpersonal skills to manage nursing staff and foster collaboration.
• Deep understanding of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
• Experience in healthcare management or similar roles is preferred and vital for regulatory compliance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: hire, train, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff with performance appraisals.
• Patient care oversight: ensure residents receive appropriate medical care and care plans are implemented.
• Policy development: create and enforce nursing policies to meet federal, state, and local regulations and survey readiness.
• Operational management: oversee daily nursing department operations, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Quality improvement: participate in initiatives to improve patient care and adherence to best practices.
• Collaboration: work with physicians and administrative staff to coordinate care and address staff performance issues.
• Resident and family relations: manage relationships and address concerns to ensure a positive living environment.
