Job summary

Sky Blue Healthcare LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the facility's nursing department and elevate resident care. You will mentor the team, promote clinical excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with administrators and interdisciplinary staff to strengthen outcomes.

The DON will drive QAPI initiatives, oversee staffing and care planning, and develop nursing leaders while fostering a supportive culture where both residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required in Oklahoma or a compact state.
• Experience leading nursing teams in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Working knowledge of CMS requirements, surveys, QAPI, care planning, and documentation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team to deliver high-quality care.
• Promote resident care standards and clinical practice.
• Oversee nursing operations, staffing, and clinical systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and facility requirements.
• Drive survey readiness and corrective action plans when needed.
• Monitor quality measures, outcomes, incidents, and trends; participate in QAPI.
