Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing and clinical care aligned with state and federal guidelines for residents. You will manage admissions, transfers, and care plans while ensuring high quality care across units.

Responsibilities include MDS oversight, infection control, daily rounds, and regulatory compliance. The role requires a Hawaii RN license and a track record in long-term care leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years professional nursing experience.
• Geriatrics or long-term care experience preferred; management experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current unencumbered Hawaii RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Provides oversight of MDS assessments, care planning and RAI process; oversees Infection Control.
• Ensures continuity in provision of nursing services to meet quality standards and reviews incident/24-hour reports.
• Oversees resident care and implementation of resident-specific care plans.
• Conducts daily resident rounds and regulatory compliance rounds with follow-up on issues.
