Job summary

Full Spectrum Search Group is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) for a 132-bed skilled nursing facility in Williamsburg, VA. You will oversee all clinical operations and lead a collaborative team to sustain high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate has DON experience in long-term care, strong regulatory knowledge, and excels at coaching staff and building culture. Competitive base salary, sign-on bonus, and a work-life balance program are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Experience leading clinical teams in long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal SNF regulations.
• Experience preparing for regulatory surveys.
• Proven leadership, communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all nursing services within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness.
• Partner with Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership.
• Mentor nursing leaders and frontline staff.
• Promote employee engagement and collaborative culture.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, and clinical performance.
• Support admissions and resident care planning.
