Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations within the Administration department. You will collaborate with the Medical Director to promote high standards of care and support professional development of nursing staff.

This leadership role manages budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives quality initiatives across the facility to provide safe, compassionate care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Indiana (current)
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an acute setting
• CPR certification required
• ER/Communicable Disease with Medical/Surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and manages budgets, policies, and procedures to align with facility goals and objectives.
• Organizes service delivery, manages resources, and collaborates with other departments, facilities, patients, families, and visitors.
• Leads quality improvement activities, provides direct supervision, and serves as a resource to nursing staff.
• Monitors safety issues, evaluates service delivery and staff development, and adheres to the Code of Conduct.
• Demonstrates knowledge of risk management, infection control, fall prevention, and seclusion/restraint alternatives.
