Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services, develop policies, and collaborate with the Medical Director to uphold high standards of patient care. The role requires supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering professional development within a mission-driven, underserved setting.

The DON will oversee daily operations, budgets, and service delivery across the facility, while driving quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety

Qualifications

• Requires nursing leadership experience and ability to oversee daily operations.
• Experience supervising in an acute care setting recommended.
• CPR certification and RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and manages budgets, policies, and procedures aligned with facility goals.
• Organizes service delivery, manages resources, and collaborates with departments, families, and visitors.
• Leads quality improvement activities, supervises staff, and serves as a resource to nursing team.
