The DON collaborates with the Medical Director, supports professional development, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives quality improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in an acute setting recommended.
• Have and maintain current RN licensure in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations, budgets, policies and procedures to align with facility goals.
• Organizes service delivery, resources, and cross-department collaboration.
• Leads quality improvement activities and supervises nursing staff.
• Monitors safety, evaluates care delivery and staff growth, and upholds the Code of Conduct.
• Demonstrates knowledge of risk management, infection control, and fall prevention.
