Job summary

Forest Surgery Center seeks a Director of Nursing to oversee daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center in San Jose. Responsibilities include coordinating procedure scheduling, inventory control, QA/QI, staff credentialing, safety, risk management and related services for the center and its personnel.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree with an active RN license, current American Heart Association, BLS and ACLS certifications, plus comprehensive benefits including health plans

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license.
Current American Heart Association certification.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the ambulatory surgical center.
Coordinate scheduling of procedures, inventory control and safety.
Lead QA/QI programs and risk management initiatives.
Oversee staff credentialing and related support services.
