Job summary

Forest Surgery Center seeks a Director of Nursing to oversee daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center in San Jose. Responsibilities include coordinating procedure scheduling, inventory control, QA/QI, staff credentialing, safety, risk management and related services for the center and its personnel.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree with an active RN license, current American Heart Association, BLS and ACLS certifications, plus comprehensive benefits including health plans

Job description

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Surgery Center. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, inventory control, QA/ QI, staff credentialing, preventative maintenance and safety, risk management and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current state Registered Nurse License required.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS and ACLS certifications also required.
