Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Director of Nursing in New Jersey to lead nursing services for a residential addiction treatment program. You will collaborate with the Executive Director to establish a therapeutic environment and daily routines for residents.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS/First Aid certifications, and prior nursing leadership in a licensed addiction treatment or detox setting. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed per state regulations.
• CPR, First Aid and BLS certifications required.
• At least 1 year of full-time nursing supervision or nursing administration in addiction treatment or detox facility.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a substance use disorders or mental health facility.
• Experience triaging in medical emergencies.
• Localized travel up to 10% may be required for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services directly to patients.
• Oversee nursing services and supervise the nursing team.
• Maintain medical records per state and federal regulations.
• Train and supervise nursing staff in health/safety and equipment use.
• Develop and adhere to medication administration policies and self-administration support.
• Administer and interpret TB/Mantoux testing per state rules.
• Assist in budgeting and in quality assurance for nursing services.
• Coordinate nursing with other patient care services for continuity of care.
• Document Nursing Progress Notes and renewals for patients.
• Participate in team meetings and complete required training.
