Job summary

Hanley Foundation is seeking a Nursing Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across nursing services in our addiction treatment facilities. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with regulatory standards.

Required are a current nursing license, supervisory experience, and strong leadership. The role involves budgeting, policy interpretation, and coordinating with clinical staff to optimize client care.

Qualifications

• Maintain current Nursing license from the Board of Nursing.
• Minimum three years post-licensure experience or minimum ten years in management.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience.
• If in recovery, one year of continuous sobriety is required.
• Demonstrate managerial experience and competence.
• Knowledge of adult treatment, co-morbid factors, and family systems theory.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and network systems.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Hire and evaluate performance of employees.
• Counsels employees and assists with goal setting.
• Initiates disciplinary action including verbal and written reprimands.
• Delegates scheduling of staff hours.
• Designs, implements, and evaluates nursing quality assurance activities.
• Interprets policies and procedures.
• Provides training of subordinates.
• Tracks monthly budget figures and helps develop the department budget.
• Ensures privacy and confidentiality of client records.
• Stands on-call at designated times.
