Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or equivalent required.
• Doctorate preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Ohio RN license required.
• Administrative or supervisory experience essential.
• Experience with accreditation processes required.
• Strong teaching record in nursing and college-level instruction.
• Proficiency with educational technology and online course design.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for continuous improvement of the Nursing department.
• Lead curriculum development and program assessment.
• Manage faculty, staff, and departmental resources.
• Teach day/evening nursing courses including online/blended formats.
• Represent the department in college committees and accreditation activities.
• Ensure alignment with Ohio Higher Education standards and ACEN.
• Support division and college-wide initiatives related to enrollment and retention.
• Maintain open communication and promote professional growth.
• Fulfill duties as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.
• Participate in New Faculty Orientation and evaluation processes.
