Job summary

Avantara Arrowhead is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our friendly, caring team. You will oversee the Clinical Department, support a positive facility culture, and help set Nursing Department goals to ensure residents receive a high standard of care.

Requirements include an ADN or related degree, an unencumbered South Dakota RN license, CPR, and two years of RN experience; prior management experience is preferred, with a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science, Nursing or related field.
• Unencumbered South Dakota RN license.
• CPR Certification.
• Two years of RN experience.
• Prior management experience in a nursing department is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department to ensure residents receive a high standard of care.
• Assist with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture and with setting Nursing Department goals.
• Ensure the nursing department complies with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Support continuous professional development and internal growth opportunities.
