Job summary

The Nursing Course Instructor Faculty member at Duke University is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing education through classroom instruction, clinical supervision, and mentoring. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical nursing experience, with at least one year in an educational or instructional role in an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in curriculum development and instruction design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: conduct lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions; assess student performance via exams and evaluations.
• Clinical/lab supervision: oversee student rotations and ensure practical skill development.
• Curriculum development: collaborate to design, review, and update nursing curricula and instructional materials.
