Job summary

Mount Carmel College of Nursing seeks a President to provide vision and leadership for all aspects of the college and its educational programs. The role requires alignment with MCCN's mission, policies, and Mount Carmel Health System strategic plans.

The President will oversee administration, accreditation, budget, faculty development, and external partnerships, while maintaining a strong Catholic tradition and commitment to diversity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate in nursing or related discipline, with a Masters' degree in nursing.
• Experience: 7–10 years in education, program development, teaching in baccalaureate or higher programs.
• Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership and administrative skills; ability to motivate a team and lead in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for all aspects of the College of Nursing operations.
• Develops and maintains an administrative organization for effective management of resources.
• Oversees accreditation, diversity, and representation to internal and external constituencies.
• Leads strategic planning aligned with Mount Carmel Health System.
• Oversees budget, reports, and compliance with regulatory bodies.
