Job summary

The Ashton on Dorsey, part of Sonida Senior Living, Louisville, KY, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings. The role focuses on compassionate daily care, including grooming, meals, mobility assistance, and safe medication reminders.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care; assists with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts and transfers.
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements and substitutions when appropriate.
• Reminds residents to take medication and opens containers and packages for residents.
• Recognizes changes in residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director.

Education

High school graduate or GED preferred
