Job summary

The Wellington at Southport, a Sonida Senior Living community, in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The role focuses on assisting residents with daily care, meals, and mobility, while reporting health changes to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed CNA in the state where you will work required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with resident care standards (dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts and transfers).
• Assists residents with nutritional needs (setting tables, serving meals, proper fluids, substitutions).
• Reminds residents to take medications and opens containers/packages.
• Reports changes in residents' behavior or condition to the Assisted Living Director.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities Include

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director
