Job summary

The Ashton at Anderson, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a caring Nursing Aide to support residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. You will help with daily activities, medications, meals, and companionship, delivering compassionate, dignified care.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Escorts residents within and outside the building as needed.
• Helps with meals preparation and cleanup.
• Assists with planning and executing resident activities.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
