Job summary

Orbis Education is seeking Nursing Clinical Instructors in Norfolk, VA to support the Accelerated BSN program. You will oversee clinical education in partner facilities, focusing on psychomotor skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking.

The role requires an RN license in Virginia or a compact state, a BSN, and teaching experience. You will collaborate with faculty and clinical staff to guide student learning and provide meaningful feedback.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching experience required.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Virginia or compact state.
• Completed BSN.
• Two years of successful clinical nursing practice.
• Currently attending MSN.
• Able to work 8–12 hour shifts in clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical setting.
• Provide guidance for professionalism, practice, and research.
• Select and organize learning activities to meet course objectives.
• Ensure effective evaluations of student practice.
• Promote evidence-based practice.
• Provide feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel.
• Collaborate with other faculty and partner staff.
• Attend orientation, training and faculty meetings.
