Qualifications

• Must be able to work the hours specified and perform essential functions.
• Currently enrolled in a CCNE or NLN accredited RN program; expected to complete final semesters.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and coordinating with the health care team.
• Develops nursing care plans by reviewing histories, examining patients, and documenting status.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Evaluates patient care by comparing outcomes to standards and adjusting plans as needed.
• Maintains a safe environment by following infection-control policies and regulations.
• Documents patient care in charts and department records.
• Keeps equipment and supplies ready and maintained; assists with preventive maintenance.
• Supports ongoing learning with mentor guidance and training.
• Maintains confidentiality and teamwork within the unit.
