Job summary

American Career College seeks a dedicated nursing faculty member to deliver classroom and clinical instruction according to an approved curriculum. You will supervise students in clinical settings, assess their ability to apply knowledge, and support their progress through tutoring and remediation.

The role requires staying current with teaching methods, maintaining accurate attendance and grade records, and actively participating in faculty and college-wide activities to promote student success

Qualifications

Recent nursing experience as RN or LVN within the last 5 years.
Experience delivering classroom/clinical instruction.
Ability to supervise students and assess clinical performance.
Familiarity with attendance and grade records; keep data current.

Responsibilities

Deliver class and/or clinical instruction per approved curriculum.
Supervise students in clinical settings and assess application of knowledge.
Develop daily lesson plans; advise, remediate, tutor, and track attendance/grades.
Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development twice yearly.
Engage in college activities: in-services, meetings, student events, and orientations.
Support student success by delivering quality instruction aligned with program goals.
