Job summary

American Career College is seeking a nursing faculty member to guide students in clinical instruction and classroom teaching. You will supervise learners in clinical settings, plan lessons, and maintain accurate records while upholding academic integrity and the college's values.

You will contribute to a student-centric environment, participate in faculty meetings, and support program completion. A California nursing license and CPR certification are required, with experience in RN/LVN roles

Qualifications

Must have 2 years nursing experience as RN or LVN within the last 5 years.
Option 2 requires 6 years nursing experience as LVN and RN combined, or 6 years of either.
Current active California license as LVN or RN; CPR Card required.

Responsibilities

Deliver class and/or clinical instruction per approved curriculum using effective teaching methods.
Supervise students with patients or in clinical settings and assess application of knowledge.
Develop daily lesson plans and advise, remediate, tutor, and maintain attendance/grades records.
Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional growth activities and in-service trainings.
Participate in college activities such as in-services, meetings, student functions, and orientations.
Support student success by providing quality instruction and aiding retention and program completion.
