Responsibilities

• Deliver class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved curriculum using effective teaching methods.
• Supervise students in clinical settings, assessing their ability to apply knowledge and plan patient care.
• Develop daily lesson plans; advise, remediate, and tutor students; maintain attendance and grade records.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional growth activities; attend in-service training.
• Engage in college activities and support student success and program goals.

Skills

RN/LVN nursing experience

Education

Baccalaureate degree with teaching instruction

CA teaching certificate or approved teaching program

Minimum 1 year FT teaching in nursing program (last 5 years)
