Job summary

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality instruction, using diverse teaching methods, and supporting student success in a on-site classroom and lab setting. You will collaborate with faculty and staff, participate in assessments and accreditation activities, and mentor newer instructors.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with a major in nursing, if the graduate degree is not in Nursing, then a minimum of a BSN.
• Arizona RN
• BLS for healthcare providers
• At least two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
• Proof Immunizations or titers OR (1) PPD (2) Hep B

Responsibilities

• Prepares lessons and course materials aligned with curriculum and accreditation.
• Delivers instruction using varied teaching methods for diverse learning styles.
• Maintains an inclusive, professional classroom environment.
• Provides proactive student advising, tutoring, and office hours.
• Participates in program improvement and assessment activities.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and uses systems for records.
• Collaborates with colleagues and mentors new faculty.
• Maintains equipment and supports lab readiness
