Bowie State University seeks a Nursing Clinical Adjunct for a part-time faculty role in the Department of Nursing. This temporary position involves guiding undergraduate students in adult health clinical labs with complex care needs.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing; Doctorate is preferred, and an active or eligible Maryland/DC/compact state license. ICU/telemetry or Emergency/OR experience is valued.

Job Description: The Department of Nursing is undergoing a process of growth and renewal and would like to attract part time clinical instructors that will share and contribute to this process through clinical guidance in the area of adult health with complex care needs.

Responsibilities

Teaches undergraduate nursing clinical lab. This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required for this position.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in Nursing required. Doctorate in Nursing or other related area preferred. Must have expertise in ICU/Telementary and/or Emergency or O.R. Must hold a current or be eligible for an unencumbered license to practice nursing in Maryland, Washington, D.C. or a compact state
