Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University seeks a Clinical Adjunct Instructor to provide high-quality clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students across diverse clinical settings. This role emphasizes applying theory to real-world patient care and supporting student development under the nursing program faculty.

Candidates should hold a BSN, preferably a master's in nursing (or be enrolled in a master's program); BLS/ACLS; and licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

BSN required; master's preferred; candidates without master's must be enrolled in a master's program.
BLS and/or ACLS certification required
Eligible/current for licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or Compact Nursing License
Previous teaching experience preferred
Utilizes contemporary and innovative teaching methodologies in classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical settings
Evidence of ongoing clinical competency
Participates in professional activities related to area of clinical expertise
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Enterprise

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality clinical instruction and supervision.
