Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a Nursing Coordinator for our Endocrinology practice. You will act as liaison between providers and patients, triaging calls, coordinating care, and educating patients.

Under the direction of the Practice Manager and clinical leads, you will manage scheduling, authorizations, and protocol-driven activities with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. An RN license is required; endocrinology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program (required).
• Preferred: Bachelor of Degree in Nursing.
• Current PA RN license, Healthcare Provider CPR, and Act 33/73 clearances.
• Endocrinology or Diabetes Management experience preferred; 1 year RN practice in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Triages phone calls and coordinates patient care within Endocrinology practice.
• Handles medication refills, scheduling of procedures, and obtaining authorizations.
• Serves as liaison between providers and patients and educates patients per protocols.
• Performs assigned clinical duties under supervision as needed.
