Job summary

Highlands Care Center is seeking a nurse leader to oversee 24/7 clinical operations within a 50-bed facility. You will manage payroll, scheduling, hiring, and performance reviews while driving quality patient care and staff development under HH Health System.

BSN preferred; RN licensure required and BLS certification expected by orientation end. Collaboration with physicians, nursing schools, and departments is essential for strategic improvements.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure and demonstrate leadership in healthcare settings.
• BSN preferred; associates degree acceptable with relevant management experience.
• Knowledge of 5 Star, Quality measures, PDPM, and QAPI is desirable.
• BLS certification required before the end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 operations in the clinical department and manage resources.
• Oversee hiring, payroll, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
• Develop and mentor staff; ensure regulatory compliance and risk reduction.
• Manage budgets, variances, and capital/FTE planning for the department.
• Collaborate with HR, physicians, and organizations to improve care.
